Benefits Coordinator

The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for service and support for our valued clients related to their group health and non-medical benefits.

The Benefits Coordinator should epitomize Bond’s culture of Trust, Accountability and Teamwork. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provide professional, unparalleled customer service to our clients, carriers, agents, and vendors.

Provide support to Benefits Consultants and Account Managers.

Advocate on behalf of and represent our clients and their employees with carriers, vendors, and within our internal processes.

Expand depth of knowledge and attention to detail to deliver accurate service and manage expectations appropriately.

Coordinates with Account Managers by assisting in the preparation of client benefit renewals & proposals.

Prepare materials for client enrollment meetings.

Maintain poise under pressure; take responsibility for actions, and follow through on commitments.

Maintain focus on client satisfaction and retention.

Under the direction of the Director of Client Services:

Educate and provide guidance to clients, carriers, agents, and vendors on the services provided by Bond Benefits Consulting.

Prepare client quotes for group insurance products by analyzing client bills; creating comparisons; and conducting financial analysis.

Interact with clients, carriers, agents, and vendors to manage and maintain relationships.

Execute quick decisions with regard to waiving or deviating from established policies or procedures to ensure exceptional customer service.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is recommended.

This position requires at least one year prior experience in customer service or employee benefits.

Enrollment Specialist

The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for the primary processing and documentation of enrollment related changes, and supporting the Bond team.This role will also be responsible for being the initial contact, both in person and by phone, to our clients, brokers, and vendors.

The Enrollment Specialist should epitomize Bond’s culture of Trust, Accountability and Teamwork. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide professional, unparalleled customer service to our clients, carriers, agents, and vendors.
  • Provide support to Benefit Consultants, Account Managers, Healthcare Coordinators, and Group Benefit Coordinators.
  • Process and confirm enrollments, terminations, changes, retroactivities for both medical and group benefits.
  • Perform billing audits, and reconciliations, including but not limited to rates and enrollments, through working with the carriers.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Monitors visitor access.
  • Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable. Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel. Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications.
  • Advocate on behalf of and represent our clients and their employees with carriers, vendors, and within our internal processes.
  • Expand depth of knowledge and attention to detail to deliver accurate service and manage expectations appropriately.
  • Claims advocacy assistance as needed.
  • Maintain poise under pressure, take responsibility for actions, and follow through on commitments.
  • Maintain focus on client satisfaction and retention.
  • Assist with the printing, sorting, assembly, and shipment of open enrollment and employee education related materials.
  • Performs other projects and clerical duties as needed, such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and collating in support of all Bond departments.

Commission & Billing Coordinator

The Commission & Billing Coordinator is responsible for the compiling, computing, and recording of billing, commission, and other accounting or numerical data.

The Commission & Billing Coordinator will work closely with other members of the Accounting and Commission Team to accurately track the receipt and payment of commissions. The right candidate should epitomize Bond’s culture of Trust, Accountability and Teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provide professional, unparalleled customer service to our clients, carriers, agents, and vendors.

· Log and record commission data as received.

· Successfully allocate commissions using agency commission system.

· Use agency reporting systems to research commission shortfalls and recover missing revenues.

· Interact with other members of the Bond Team, insurance carriers, and other vendor partners to assure integrity of data.

· Provide billing services for key accounts.

· Maintain poise under pressure; take responsibility for actions and follow through on commitments.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University in a relevant field; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position requires at least one year prior experience working with billing, payroll, and/or agency commissions.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks is required.

Experience with a Human Resource Information System, Customer Relationship Management System, and/or payroll system is preferred.
